Write files to DVD in Windows XP for free.
July 21, 2008 – 10:33 pmWhile my HP laptop is away getting fixed I have been using my old Dell laptop. My Dell is running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (SP3). It has been so long since I used XP for a primary system I forgot XP does not natively support writing to DVD’s. After some quick searching I found CDBurnerXP. http://cdburnerxp.se/ CDBurnerXP has lots of features, is easy to install/use, and it is free. After I downloaded and installed I used it to burn around two gigabytes of data to a DVD. It was quick, easy, and the disk turned out perfect.
